In Unzen Volcanic Area Geopark, there is no geosite of billions of years ago. However, there is filled with fresh and active geosites generated by recent volcanic activities! People has been living with volcano since time immemorial. Welcome to the Unzen volcanic area, which is a new type of geopark the coexistence human being with active volcano.
